Brewing with history in mind.

Marda Loop Brewing Company set out to create more than great craft beer. The brewery wanted to celebrate the history of the neighbourhood by naming its five founding beers after local landmarks and community icons that have disappeared over time but helped shape the character of Marda Loop.

Our first step was to uncover and craft the stories behind each namesake. These became a series of Beer Story Posters that invited patrons to discover the history behind every pint. Those narratives were then distilled into the label designs, creating packaging that reflected the spirit of each story while building curiosity and conversation.

The result was a brand rooted in place—one that connected past and present by transforming local history into a meaningful part of the customer experience. Every beer became an opportunity to share a story, celebrate community and raise a glass to the people and places that helped shape the neighbourhood.
