Weaving the process into the book.

Overandunderandoverandunder… is an exhibition catalogue featuring three tapestry artists whose practices connect ancient techniques with contemporary making.

The design extends that relationship into the physical book, allowing the reader to experience weaving through both the work and the object itself. Across the cover, the title acts as the weft, moving through embossed warp threads, while a length of real thread trails from the typography.

The result is a tactile expression of the artists’ process—rhythmic, carefully crafted and rooted equally in tradition and experimentation.

This keeps the memorable physical detail while making the underlying editorial concept clearer. The title treatment is not simply a decorative cover device; it transforms the publication into an extension of the exhibition itself.
